INTRODUCTION

PEX press fitting are specialized components designed for connecting PEX piping systems. These fittings utilize a mechanical crimping method to create secure and leak-proof connections, making them a popular choice in plumbing, radiant heating, and other fluid transport applications. The crimping process compresses a metal ring (usually copper or stainless steel) around the PEX pipe and fitting, ensuring a tight and durable seal.

Technical Parameters:

Main Parts: Brass body , stainless steel 304 sleeve,PE seat .

Working Pressure:≤1.0MPa

Medium: Oil, water

Working Temperature: 0~95℃

Key Features

1. Durability: PEX press fittings are resistant to corrosion and scale buildup, ensuring long-lasting performance.

2. Flexibility: PEX pipes can bend and flex, reducing the need for additional fittings and simplifying installation.

3. Leak-Proof Sealing: The crimping process creates a strong, reliable seal that prevents leaks.

4. Cost-Effective: Press fittings are affordable and require fewer tools compared to other connection methods.

5. Compatibility: Designed specifically for PEX pipes, these fittings are ideal for hot and cold water systems.

Applications

·Plumbing Systems: Used in residential and commercial water supply lines for hot and cold water.

·Radiant Floor Heating: Ideal for hydronic heating systems due to PEX's flexibility and heat resistance.

·Snow Melting Systems: Used in outdoor heating systems to melt snow on driveways and walkways.

·Industrial Fluid Transport: Suitable for non-potable water and other fluid applications.

Installation Steps

1.Cut the PEX Pipe: Use a PEX pipe cutter to ensure a clean, straight cut.

2.Insert the pipe: Push the nipple of the fitting into the pipe until it is fully seated.

3.Position the Crimp Tool: Place the crimping tool over the crimp ring and align it properly.

4.Crimp the Ring: Squeeze the crimping tool to compress the ring around the pipe and fitting, creating a secure connection.

5. Inspect the Connection: Ensure the crimp is uniform and properly compressed to prevent leaks

Advantages of Press Fittings

·Ease of Installation: No soldering or glue is required, making the process faster and cleaner.

·Reliability: The crimped connection is highly resistant to leaks and failures.

·Versatility: Suitable for a wide range of applications, from residential plumbing to industrial systems.

·Cost Savings: Lower labor and material costs compared to traditional piping methods.
